Improving funnels

BRief

In the summer of 2021 I was given the opportunity to do an internship with loveholidays. It was an interesting time to join the company as they were in the middle of redesigning their visual language and platform. During the time with loveholidays I conducted a wide range of research resulting in several strong ideas of opportunity for loveholidays. Finally I pursued two of the ideas which were a progress bar - helping customers to understand the purchase funnel - and a new offer card - showing customers what extras will be available for their trip. Both opportunities were connected to helping customers understand their alternatives and navigation better.

looking back

REFLECTIONS

Through this project I developed my research skills by learning the tool of fullstory which was a great take away. I was also introduced to "usertesting.com" where I was able to develop my skills and experiences with user testing through different methods. Since this was my first internship in the industry I was exposed to new areas of challenge that could only be experienced in the real industry. I found it specially developing to work amongst developers and designers as a team to find the best solutions.
