In the end of my degree at Ravensbourne University we were breifed to create our own brief. I decided to focus on service design within commercial property, as I had recently developed an interest in property. For this project I designed an online portal where companies could be matched with offices based on their empolyees needs and wishes. The managers would fill in specific information such as budget etc, and the employees answered different questions in a survey around their living location, preferations & needs. Based on this data the companies would be matched with different combinations of offices in different areas distributed based on the empolyees areas of living, and preferences. Some offices would cater to day and night transformations, while others would have an outdoor space for exercise and landscaping.
I really enjoyed the process of my final major project. Getting to think about the wider system and problem solving how it would all fit together was the most fun part. For this project I don't really have anything I would change, except for timing. It did become bit stressful towards the end, as I wanted to make the physical booklet as good as possible. Being able to both create a complex system and getting to create something physical was what made this project so exciting for me.
